How to remove “Privacy Warning” popup box, in MS Excel 2010

Hi all, Smile

As we know MS Excel is widely used over the world today. Most of us using it in our routine work. Have you ever faced a problem when saving your worksheet like,

“Privacy Warning : This document contains Macros, Active X controls….”

A popup box always appears whenever we are saving our worksheet. Do you want to remove it?

Here’s the way…Hot smile

  • First Open your excel workbook.
  • Now go to “File” Tab (At the top left corner). Now Click on “Options”.

  • In that go to “Trust Center”.

  • Select “Trust Center Settings”.

  • Now go to “Privacy Options” which is located at as the last option in the list. And uncheck “Remove personal information from the property on save”. Press OK.
  • Try to save your document again. Bingo you will not get that popup box again…Open-mouthed smile

 

I know its a very common thing for professionals. But its a tiny but very useful information for Dummies…
