How to add Gujarati Keyboard in Windows 10 / 11 (Gujarati Fonts Shruti, Varun & Saral download for free !!)

Hi all
I have searched a lot about some specific Gujarati Fonts which are used widely but not available for free download. So i decided to write this blog. You can download various Guajarati fonts from the links below.
SHRUTI font download from HERE.
VARUN & SARAL download from HERE.
LMG ARUN download HERE.
ARUN & SARAL download from HERE.
Almost all Gujarati Fonts download from Here (All Gujarati Fonts, Large Collection).

For Shruti font & Gujarati keyboard which is widely used by the government of Gujarat employees can be download from HERE

Update : Thanks to Google, now you can directly type on English words and instantly translate to your local language, as shown in the example below, 

Just select the language you want from the language bar in the corner of your screen. (Windows button + space bar for windows 8.1 and windows 10).

Well for now Google Input Tool is available for online use only. (you can still download it from several websites though, you can download it from here if you want.

But you can also switch to a great Microsoft alternative called "Microsoft Indic Language Input Tool".
It works exactly same was as Google Input Tool do, but offline, Take a look below,



You can download Microsoft Indic Language Input Tool from Here. After installation you just have to change language from the language bar displayed in left down corner of the taskbar.

Update 2.0 : Well if you are using Windows 10 (Or Windows 11) then changing language and keyboard is more easier now. You can add Gujarati Keyboard by following below method.

1. Click on search icon and select "Settings"

2. Now click on "Time and Language" (Note : You can go directly to language by typing it in search bar)


3. You will find "Language and Region"



4. You will find "Add a Language" button under "Language and Region" option click on it,



5. You will find language selection dialog, Select or type "Gujarati" in it,



6. Now Gujarati Language will be displayed after English, Click on three dots in gujarati (Top right corner) language option,





7. Click on "Add a Keyboard" button,



8. Now Select "Gujarati Phonetic" keyboard,



9. That's it! now you can find two gujarati languge options on the task bar as "Gujarati" and "Gujarati Phonetic". 



First Gujarati keyboard will be "Shruti" typing as old method and "Gujarati Phonetic" will give mobile type typing experiance.
