Very slow network discovery & slow data transfer from Windows 7 to Xp: Problem Solved…

Hi all,

today I am going to explain the best settings of network adaptor for fast network discovery and file transfer from windows 7 machine to windows Xp pc.

  1. In windows 7 machine press “window + R “ to open run.

  1. now type “ncpa.cpl” to open Network connections.

  1. select your network adaptor and right click on it. Go to “Properties”.

  1. Click on “Configure” button.

  1. go to “Advanced” tab.

  1. Here you have to change some of the settings as follows,

Flow Control = Enabled

IPv4 Checksum offload = Rx & Tx Enabled

Large send offload V2 (IPv4) = Disabled

Large send offload V2 (IPv6) = Disabled

Priority & VLAN = Priority & VLAN Enabled

Speed & Duplex = Auto Negotiation

keep the other settings are as such and restart the computer. You will get what u want.
